(News from China Formwork and Scaffolding Association) On March 26, 2025, the Establishment of the Compilation Group for China Formwork and Scaffolding Association Standard Aluminum Alloy Formwork Engineering Technology Service Standard & the First Working Meeting was successfully held in Foshan.

Ms. Peng Furong and Mr. Zhong Sailong from Archipower Building Materials Technology Co., Ltd. (Guangdong) were invited to attend the meeting and discuss the standard formulation with industry peers.

Gao Feng, Secretary-General of the Association, delivered a welcome speech. On behalf of the Association, he extended a warm welcome and sincere thanks to all attendees for their presence, and warmly congratulated the establishment of the compilation group. He analyzed the current situation and existing problems of aluminum formwork from the technical and market operation levels, pointing out that this compilation work aims to fill the gap in the unification of aluminum formwork technology service standards, which will point out the direction and lay the foundation for the industry development. He hoped that the compilation group would accurately grasp the industry pain points, conduct in-depth research and scientific demonstration, and ensure that the compilation results are forward-looking, practical, and authoritative, contributing wisdom and strength to the healthy and sustainable development of the aluminum formwork industry.

Liu Shujian from Beijing Jiuwei introduced the background, timeline, and application prospects of the standard proposal to the attendees, and emphasized the work that has been carried out for the standard, including the design of the standard framework chapters, the drafting work that has been carried out, and the draft text.

The attendees conducted lively discussions on the standard compilation outline and standard draft, and put forward opinions and suggestions on the standard scope, technical indicators, terminology, compilation plan, and each chapter of the standard draft.

Finally, Lu Yijie, Chairman of the Association, made a summary speech. He emphasized that through the in-depth discussions of the attendees, this meeting had achieved fruitful results. Starting from the current situation of the domestic and foreign aluminum formwork markets, he profoundly analyzed the development trend and existing problems of the aluminum formwork industry. He clearly required that all leading and participating units must strengthen cooperation and communication to jointly promote the smooth progress of the drafting work.

The successful holding of this meeting marks the official launch of the compilation work of the Association’s Aluminum Alloy Formwork Engineering Technology Service Standard. As the leading unit, the editor-in-chief unit will adhere to an open and pragmatic attitude, maintain close communication with all participating units proactively and continuously, and build an efficient communication and cooperation platform. It will demonstrate leading advancement in industry development and high practicality in practical application, laying a solid foundation and providing strong support for the high-quality development of the aluminum alloy formwork industry.
